Night Snake (Hypsiglena torquata) swallowing a frog

This small, usually nocturnal snake, prays mainly on small vertebrates, like lizards and frogs. In this video clip, you can see the last stages of an attack on an Eleutherodactylus frog. The attack was directed from a crack in a wall, which the snake used as a hideaway and an effective ambush spot. This is a mildly venomous species, not dangerous to humans.
