Tailless Whip-scorpion (Phrynus sp.)

Tailless whipscorpions are curious arthropods with spiny mouth parts (pedipalps) designed to catch prey. Very thin first pair of legs is used to feel around in dark when hunting. Active at night, these spider relatives have no silk glands or poisonous fangs but rely on stealth, speed and very sharp jaws.
